I must admit, I was a bit suspicious about the calendar made by some stewardesses from bankrupt air line Air Comet. See previous post here.
It was said that the calendar is the last resort for the stewardesses who have been left unemployed after the air line went bust last December. Many without pay for the past six months. It was also a protest against their former employer. When Air Comet collapsed it left hundreds of passengers stranded at various airports, and it owned creditors an estimated 160 million euros.
“We have produced the calendar because we don’t want society to turn over the page and forget what has happened to us” said one of the calendar girls.
At the same time they only printed 1,200 copies and tried to sell it over the internet for 15 euros, but only through an e-mail address (act.azafatas@gmail.com)
1,200 copies don’t amount to a lot of money.
And I, for one, don’t leave my e-mail address or any other information through e-mails.
So is this a real deal?
Well, since the story has been all over Internet, I have now seen the set. And there is a photographer’s name attached to it, Augusto Robert. One of Spain’s most famous photographers.
Miss August also has a name: Stewardess Adriana Ricardo.
A page on Facebook has also emerged.
So maybe. Anyway, I like the photos, and here is the complete Air Comet’s stewardesses calendar.
